Keithley’s love for music saw him climb from strength to strength from his sound system days his music root lead him to create StationFM in 1991, a unique radio station of its time continuously striving to play the music jonra what music lovers wanted to hear, along with informative community talk show information, outside of mainstream radio. Also educating the youths of the 90s with through his early morning breakfast show driven with inspiring messages and catch phrases to children which never failed ….
With a collective mixture of multi-talented DJs, his musical journey lead to roadblock night outs at numerous memorable night spots – two that standout: Oasis as a trio with Hector Selector and TC Fords; and most noticeablely his unique double act as the Wicked and Mad with Lady Jaye across North London venues.
He was a poignant advocate for opening the doors not just for many household DJs of today; but many small businesses, many with whom have remained life long sponsors of the Station such: James Shoecare (Martin Wynter); Flying Squad (Eugen); and MC Motors to name a few…
With continous ill health Keithley formed a business partnership with Big Gee to keep StationFM on its feet. With renewed focus they collectively rebranded and rebuilt the station which todate has 33 DJs on rotation, serving an online international community – 35 years on and still reaching the parts for others to follow…
